Junior Litigation Legal Secretary The candidate provide administrative and clerical support to Litigation Attorneys as related to their cases and clients. This includes to: drafting and editing correspondence, memos and other legal documents, handling court filings, e-filings, facilitating meetings, depositions, client calls, and maintaining attorney's calendars, coordinating with the records and conflicts departments in the opening and closing of matters, and entering and editing attorney time as necessary. Will have 1 year of commercial litigation experience, including a solid understanding of state and federal Court rules, procedures and calendaring requirements, the ability to e-file independently in accordance with the Court's rules, and excellent word processing and formatting skills including experience generating tables of contents and tables of authorities. The ideal candidate will interact well with others in a team setting, work effectively under pressure, and have strong organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written skills are required. Successful candidates will be proactive and goal-oriented, confident and tactful, with a passion for customer service and team work. Candidates with prior law firm experience in the role of Case Clerks or Records Clerks are encouraged to apply.
