Corporate Paralegal Assistant The candidate will provide high-level administrative support to attorneys and senior paralegals. Must be customer service-oriented with a professional, diplomatic and resilient demeanor and have the ability to handle a variety of client and attorney matters. Type correspondence and documents including letters, memoranda and forms for attorneys and paralegals; proofread documents and read for logic. Create and maintain corporate and LLC minute books. Prepare and file state annual reports. Prepare annual consents electing directors and officers. Prepare closing documents exhibits. Order state documents for closing. Review invoices from registered agent vendors for payment approval. Work with attorneys and paralegals to continually update and revise guidelines and questionnaires relating to incorporation and tax registrations in various states. File, photocopy and pend files, as required. The candidate must have 2+ years of administrative assistant/legal secretary experience, preferably in a law firm. Should have Associates degree. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Should have excellent business writing, editing and proofreading skills. Must have ability to write supporting documents, reports and business correspondence. Should have strong organization, document management and prioritization skills. Should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
