International Patent Paralegal Clerk The candidate will be monitor the IPPs docket to ensure basic procedural due dates and extensions of due dates are current. Under direction of IPP, prepare form letters to clients and foreign associates necessary to complete formal requirements in foreign patent offices. Assist IPPs in response to client requests, and foreign associates regarding formal requirements and/or general bibliographic details. Research status of formalities and filings and follow-up with foreign associates as required.Prepare Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) client letters.Under direction of IPP and attorney prepare and file responses with the PCT authorities as needed.Order formal drawings from drafting department.Order priority documents and certified assignments by completing deposit account order forms and forwarding to USPTO. Scan documents, rename, and file appropriately in firms electronic client file management system. The candidate should have previous legal experience, particularly foreign patent experience, is preferred. Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent proofreading, spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
