Litigation Paralegal The candidate will join Consumer Financial Services practice. This position will assist and support all aspects of a busy litigation practice. Responsibilities include: Assisting in the preparation of pleadings and other legal documents, correspondence and exhibits, format and proof; Gathering facts, documents and evidence to assist in the initiation or defense of legal action and in motion practice; Assisting with all discovery requests and responses; conducting document searches; collecting records via subpoena; organizing documents and coordinating production, including bates-stamping, redactions, privilege logs and e-discovery; Preparing for trials; organizing exhibits, witness materials, trial notebooks, and all other supporting documents; coordinating trial logistics; Filing and retrieving documents on state and federal court databases; and Maintaining online client matter referral and management systems. The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and in-depth knowledge of the federal and state court rules and procedures. Should have 5 years litigation paralegal experience. Experience working in financial services and non-medical professional disputes filed in state and federal courts is preferred.
