Litigation Legal Secretary Duties: Create and edit documents, correspondence, briefs, subpoenas and answers to complaints. Prepare Notice of Filings, Motions, Certificates of Insurance. ECF, State and Federal Court Filings. Creation of a TOC and a TOA. Input attorney time entries. Calendaring with Outlook. Arrange meetings and depositions. Make travel arrangements and prepare travel itineraries. Process new business intake and expense forms. Organize and maintain files. Process mail, faxes, scanning and copying.
Qualifications: 10 years' experience with strong litigation skills. Experience generating table of contents and table of authorities required. Working knowledge of various courts and filing requirements in Illinois. Fast typing speed. Outstanding Microsoft Office software skills. iManage or similar program experience required. Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact professionally with all levels of management, staff and clients. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong organization skills. Ability to multi-task and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
