EOIR Immigration Paralegal The candidate will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs. Will serve in the removal defense matters, including cancellation of removal and asylum. Serve in family based immigration matters including waivers and consular processing. Special immigrant VISAs, including U, T, VAWA, SIJS, and DACA. Conduct research to support legal proceedings. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Record and store client information. The candidate should preferably be fluent in Spanish. Previous experience as a paralegal in immigration law is essential. Excellent writing and proofreading skills needed. Familiarity with legal research is essential. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent customer service skills essential. Knowledge of e-Immigration Air (or comparable) software is essential.
