Legal Secretary - Bankruptcy & Litigation Duties: Work with Bankruptcy and Litigation groups. Will be responsible for providing quality administrative and secretarial support in a timely manner following firm policies and procedures. Will work with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal and administrative staff to service clients.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree in business administration or a related field; 3 years experience as a secretary/administrative assistant. Legal experience preferred; Commensurate combination of education and experience will be considered; Competent in the full range of computer software related to the position including MSOffice suite; Customer focused, able to demonstrate specific instances of extraordinary client service, including identifying and anticipating needs, delivering to expectations and follow through; A strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing work that is accurate the first time; Strong organizational skills that permeate all aspects of work from organizing the physical work space to filing and time management; Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy with people at all levels of the organization; Initiative, perseverance and creativity in meeting stated objectives, able to effectively problem-solve around challenges to achieve objectives; high level of dependability in completing assigned tasks and in following through on assignments; and Effective in juggling multiple priorities in a team environment in order to ensure timely delivery on all commitments. Demonstrate an extraordinary level of attention to detail, as well as effective listening and organizational skills.
