Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities: Prepare records, review and prepare exhibits, analyze medical records, trial preparation, and trial support. Search and retrieve information from court-related databases as well as other online sources of case information. Summarize transcripts, assemble chronologies of pertinent facts and key documents. Review, analyze and organize document productions. Determine, prepare and organize materials needed for expert witness review. Conduct investigative research on opposing parties and expert witnesses. Organize documents by saving to various document management systems. Maintain calendars to track deadlines and status of cases, coordinate and schedules meetings, depositions, and conference calls. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 3+ years' litigation paralegal experience in a fast paced environment, long term care experience a plus. Extensive knowledge of litigation procedures and processes including E-filing in state and federal courts. Intermediate to Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn additional software applications. Attention to detail and organizational skills are critical. Clear and effective communication skills both orally and in writing. Experience drafting and responding to standard written discovery requests and responses, and preparing other litigation documents. Must be able to multitask and successfully manage a variety of demands daily. Proficient in searching and retrieving information from various online databases.
