Legal Secretary - Corporate The candidate will process time entry, open new matters, draft engagement letters and audit responses, make travel itineraries, process reimbursement expenses, maintain calendars, organize and coordinate meetings and conferences. Maintain client files; review and prepare billing invoices and other administrative duties. Create and revise client documents, spreadsheets and forms from drafts, originals or dictation. Create and maintain corporate minute books. Exercise excellent judgment to determine priority level of work assigned daily; assure high priority items are completed in a timely matter. Assist other secretaries with work overflow. May be requested to perform other duties not listed above. Must have Bachelor's degree or completion of a paralegal program. Should have 3+ years of Corporate experience working in a large law firm or similar setting. Must have deep understanding and knowledge of the corporate and/or Blue Sky procedures including, document analysis, legal concepts and strategies, factual and legal research, and preparation of drafts of original closing documents and materials and responses to comments from state agencies relating to filings. Must have strong communication skills and capable of initiating, drafting, editing and finalizing correspondence. Should have accurate typing skills of 50 wpm. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Excel spreadsheets, document handling, Box.com and DocuSign experience. Knowledge of CapMX, Elite Webview, PowerPoint preferred.
