Litigation Paralegal The candidate will prepare subpoenas and deposition notices. Arrange for service of process. Request records, medical records and authorizations. Prepare cast of characters and chronology of events. Prepare record summaries. Draft form pleadings and form discovery. Prepare page/line deposition summaries. Prepare and organize exhibits for motions and /or depositions. Index documents. Perform social media search. Cite checking and Shepardizing. Create and maintain databases for case and document management. Prepare spreadsheets and otherwise track discovery requests. Organize and supervise document productions in conjunction with Practice Technology professionals and vendors. Coordinate in and out-of-town depositions. Oversee logistical preparations. Prepare and organize trial notebooks and demonstrative exhibits. Attend and assist at trial. Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of substantive commercial litigation experience within a law firm is preferred. Experience with e-filings in state and federal courts and/or working with other legal professionals to get the filings prepared and e-filed is a plus. Experience with review tools such as Relativity, TextMap, and other share filing related software is preferred.
