Personal Injury and Mass Tort Litigation Paralegal The candidate will coordinate with Attorneys and move cases forward. Will communicate with clients regarding their case. Prepare for and assisting with trials and depositions. Schedule hearings with courts. Prepare and issuing discovery. Draft motions and other pleadings. Prepare state court petitions and federal court complaints. Coordinate law office activity. Conduct research to support a legal proceeding. Paralegal certification or college program completed is needed. Must have personal injury law experience working a Plaintiff's personal injury docket, preferably with primary concentration on car and truck accidents and premises liability cases. Experience in mass tort litigation is a significant plus. Should have 3+ years of plaintiff personal injury or mass tort paralegal experience. Experience with the "Needles" case management system is advantageous. Experience with medical malpractice and/or nursing home neglect/abuse cases is essential. Medical records experience. Mass tort litigation experience is needed. Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish is needed. Proficient in all MS Office application is needed. Bilingual is a big time plus (English & Spanish). Deadline: 22 January, 2018.
