Litigation Paralegal The candidate will have extensive knowledge of court rules, discovery experience including propounding discovery and discovery preparation, answering phones, screening potential clients, handling contact with current clients, interviewing witnesses, conducting research, legal filing, and service of process, drafting subpoenas, and fillable forms, reviewing and summarizing records, be team-oriented, ability to work independently and take on tasks regardless of what they are if they support the team and the office's needs and a positive attitude. Must have 3 years of litigation practice Plaintiff's side experience; ability to work as part of a team who quite frankly works hard but likes to laugh; Spanish speaking preferred. Should have strong writing and legal research skills as well as a great phone presence. Must be a strong writer with legal research skills and have a desire to really help people- particularly children.
