Patent Paralegal The candidate will: Calculate patent term adjustments pre- and post-issuance. Conduct searches, extract data from searches, and organize data from searches with minimal direction. Monitor competitors patent activities domestically and abroad. Maintain electronic files. Prepare budgets and cost estimates for clients. Prepare patent family trees. Prepare due diligence charts and track documents. Prepare status reports.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate is preferred. Will have 3+ years of U.S. patent prosecution experience. Knowledge of CPI and/or other calendaring systems is preferred. Detail-oriented, efficient, flexible, results-oriented, and a self-starter. Excellent communication skills, strong computer skills, and strong organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced team environment. Familiar with CPI, United States Patent and Trademark Office s Patent Application Information Retrieval system, and other patent related databases. Familiar with CFR and MPEP. Manage IDS related projects and tasks. Prepare and file Information Disclosure Statements.
