Bankruptcy Paralegal The candidate will work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff in preparing legal documents and/or processing transactions, Review new client referrals, loan documents, bankruptcy plans and schedules, motions, affidavits, dockets, pleadings, etc. Draft legal documents including but not limited to motions, affidavits, orders, memoranda, and letters, Monitor client systems and perform data entry updates for client systems and internal databases, Promptly review and respond to communications from various parties involved in the bankruptcy process. Escalate immediately when attorney action is required. Perform other duties as assigned. Excellent oral, written, and communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain effective results in fast paced environment, High school diploma with 3-5 years of verifiable work experience required (will consider bachelor's degree in lieu of work experience), Bankruptcy experience representing creditors is a plus, Must have familiarity with Bankruptcy Law, Paralegal certification required (will consider 3-5 years work experience as a paralegal in lieu of certification), Work is performed in office setting.
