Paralegal - Litigation The candidate will be working closely with attorneys and clients while performing a range of substantive case and client matter related duties. Will be assisting attorneys with preparing necessary documents for witness interviews, depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitration. Will also be responsible for locating and reviewing information applicable to a particular case, person, or subject through online research or document reviews. Managing large volumes of documents and working with each case and transaction, reviewing, organizing and maintaining document databases for discovery, document production and attorney review, and assisting attorneys in preparation of pleadings/motions and the coordination of service of process.
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate. Should have 3+ years of experience in a legal department or law firm. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with litigation technology, including eDiscovery, and eRooms essential. Good experience with legal software such as Relativity needed. Strong oral and written communication essential. Good experience with Cite-Checking and Blue Booking preferred.
