Litigation Legal Secretary/ Bookkeeper The candidate will handle a full range of administrative responsibilities to support the firm s Partners and their team of Associates. Will prepare legal documents including but not limited to: pleadings, motions, memorandas of law, contracts, etc. Screen and route telephone calls to the proper team members. Prepare correspondence, respond to emails and direct as appropriate. Transcribe and proofread legal documents. File, organize, scan, copy and fax legal documents. File documents with the court ahead of deadlines. Maintain document management system. Proofread and input proper formatting for all relevant legal documents. Manage invoices and payments using Quickbooks. Should have 3+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal secretary in the litigation sector. Strong knowledge of creating legal documentation and terminology essential. Ability to use Quickbooks needed. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) essential.
