Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be assisting with all aspects of discovery, including but not limited to the initial drafting of disclosures, discovery requests, discovery responses, document productions, litigation holds, privilege logs, subpoenas, deposition notices, FOIA requests, and basic correspondence. Responsibilities also include organizing case files, researching corporations and witnesses, deposition prep - including exhibits and binders, drafting demand packages, and assisting with trial and mediation preparation. Prior trial experience is strongly desired, including drafting and maintaining witness and exhibit lists, jury instructions, notebooks, witness management and scheduling, trial subpoenas, coordinating with trial vendors and courts, and organizing travel arrangements (as needed). Paralegal may also be expected to attend trials. Must have a Paralegal certificate. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) proficiency, Relativity, Adobe Pro, and Westlaw experience is required. Should have 5+ years of experience, preferably in general tort, products liability and/or insurance coverage, defense, or subrogation matters. Must be extremely detail-oriented, have excellent internet research and organizational skills, and be dependable team players with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
