Litigation Paralegal The candidate should 5 10 years of experience in civil litigation with a concentration in complicated medical cases and damages. Must be proficient with Virginia Federal and State court filings and procedures. Must be able to work independently, have excellent people skills, and enthusiasm for task at hand. Additional qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and document management software, attention to detail, organization and time management skills. Will be calendaring, docketing, preparation and editing of pleadings, discovery and correspondence, filing pleadings with Federal and State courts, organizing and managing files, preparing discovery responses, subpoenaing, review and summary of medical records with a grasp for complicated medical issues and damages, and summarizing depositions.
