Paralegal (Litigation) The candidate manages the day to day handling of asbestos toxic tort cases which are assigned to an attorney/paralegal team. Responsibilities will include Initial case preparation; Update case management database; Utilize the Calendaring System; Draft client specific pretrial discovery and monitoring the responses; Draft an executive summary and case summary; Follow up on all depositions and compiling the deposition summaries; Compile materials for attorneys who are attending various court appearances, depositions and trials; Make the initial determination regarding product identification; Compile summary judgment materials and exhibits; Subpoena Trust documents; Subpoena and notice co-worker and expert depositions; All phases of trial preparation, including jury questionnaires, trial binders, exhibit binders motions in limine and more. The candidate must have Paralegal certificate. Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Should have 5 years of litigation experience including extensive trial support experience. Ability to satisfy California Business and Professions Code Sections 6450 et. Seq is required. Attention to detail and strong computer skills, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel and Summation are essential.
