Litigation Paralegal with Emphasis on eDiscovery Duties: Conduct public record searches, locate agents for service of process, business information and property ownership information. Assist with trial preparation and attend trial, including: Compilation of key trial documents. Assist with case calendar of relevant due dates. Coordinate work spaces for trial, locally or remotely. Arrange for vendors, equipment, telephone, and supplies. Maintain trial exhibits and update exhibit list as exhibits are added. Assist with documents being filed before, during and after trial. Assist with presentation of materials at trial via Trial Director. Coordinate trial schedule with witnesses and experts. Coordinate all aspects of third-party discovery; draft subpoenas, coordinate service of subpoenas, and work with third-party vendors to obtain responsive documents. Utilize litigation support software and databases to manage, review, tag, and index electronic documents. Review documents for responsiveness, confidentiality and attorney-client privilege. Prepare documents for production, DVD/CD creation and exhibit preparation. Qualifications: A paralegal certificate with 5+ years of civil litigation experience. The ability to perform online legal research using Lexis and/or Westlaw is required, as well as extensive experience with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
