Litigation Paralegal The candidate will provides assistance to attorneys and teams with all aspects of case management, including the discovery process; trial preparation; case investigation; tracking and communicating case-related dates and information; database maintenance; and the review and preparation of documents, reports, and correspondence. Position involves direct contact with clients. Drafts legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda. Organizes, analyzes, cross-checks, and validates the information. Identifies relevant judicial decisions, statutes, legal articles, codes, and other pertinent material. Performs legal and factual research. Checks and edits legal forms and documents for accuracy. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Maintains client confidence by keeping client/attorney information confidential. Should have 5+ years of current and relevant experience in complex litigation. Paralegal certificate or attestation is required.
