Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist trial counsel in all areas of client representation including draft correspondence and pleadings; prepare discovery and discovery response; request and summarize medical records; prepare for depositions, mediation, arbitration, trial; and document management. Must have a Bachelor's Degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program with 1-4 years of experience in defense litigation. Should possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills. Should preferably have an aptitude for detail, the ability to work efficiently, the ability to work under pressure with or without direct supervision, and the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time; knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures, proficiency in paper and e-filing (state and federal), knowledge of court websites, and research skills. Must be flexible, have regular attendance, and be willing to work overtime if necessary.
