Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal Duties: Assist with initial case filings and coordinating service of process; Coordinate or conduct informal fact investigations, including client and witness interviews; Assist with propounding and responding to written discovery; Assist with preparing pre-trial and trial documents; Maintain litigation calendar using AbacusLaw; Manage contact with clients, experts, doctors, consultants, and vendors in all assigned cases. Qualifications: Associate s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program; 3+ years experience in personal injury litigation at an active firm; Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; Knowledge and understanding of California Civil Procedure and local rules; Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook; Proficiency in case management software, e.g. AbacusLaw or similar; Proficiency in time management, multi-tasking, and attention to detail.
