This firm is often at the top of the list of prominent Boston law firms. Large and growing, these lawyers are well-connected throughout the Boston area, and are looking to increase the reach of their influence. At the associate level, lawyers are given a bit more responsibility than your average law firm lawyer, and depending on the practice group, given quite solid training and structured mentoring. Although the partners are increasingly conscious of the billable hours of their associates, they are generally accessible. In particular, several of the litigation partners bring in high level litigation work and remain very involved throughout to monitor and guide the associates participation.
Senior Paralegal - Litigation, International Trade Commission (IDC) The candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys during all's tages of complex litigation matters. Will help organize and manage discovery materials, and will be required to develop a's trong knowledge of case's trategy, facts and documents that can be leveraged to assist in preparing for hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations and trials. Assist with fact checking and cite-checking motions and briefs, and will work with attorneys to analyze case materials and's ynthesize relevant information into memoranda, charts and timelines. Responsible for coordinating internal resources and external vendors to ensure the needs of case teams are met during all phases of litigation. A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience working on complex litigation matters are required. Must have trial experience. Experience with Intellectual Property litigation preferred, as is experience with cite-checking and the Bluebook is needed. Must be familiar with Case Notebook and Relativity.
