Corporate Paralegal The candidate should have 1+ year of transactional experience, should be comfortable billing at least 1,500 hours per year will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with prior large law firm experience. Will work closely with attorneys in the corporate and securities department and have opportunities for direct contact with partners and clients. Updating and maintaining a web-based entity management system. Preparing initial drafts of written consents/resolutions. Preparing and filing state qualifications and withdrawals. Preparing initial drafts of documents for internal corporate reorganizations. Communicating with clients, counterparties, agents and third parties regarding ongoing projects. Obtaining and organizing signature pages. Preparing closing sets. Should have excellent document production skills (typing, spelling, grammar and punctuation) as well as strong interpersonal, analytical, research and writing skills. The ability to project professional presence, demonstrate flexibility in work assignments and accept constructive feedback is essential. Knowledge of business and legal practices at a level normally acquired through a Bachelors degree, formal paralegal training, or equivalent job experience.
