Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will assist attorneys in various types of legal matters, which include preparing closing and title documents, reviewing and summarizing leases, preparing legal forms, conducting research, maintaining files, etc.. Prepare for and attend closings. Review and summarize leases and other agreements. Gather, organize, summarize and index documents from various sources. Conduct legal research. Organize and prepare closing documents and binders. Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned. Pays attention to detail. Bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate with real estate focus is required. Should have 5+ continuous years of employment as a real estate paralegal in a law firm or title company. ACRIS and Westchester Prep experience is required. Westlaw/Lexis-Nexis research experience is preferred. Lease review experience is preferred. Notary Public license in New York is preferred.
