Patent Prosecution Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for: preparing information disclosure statements and skeleton office action responses; filing, reporting, and invoicing patent applications, office action responses, and other paperwork; communicating with clients electronically and by phone as required; accessing client extranet sites and otherwise retrieving client communications regarding prosecution tasks; and managing the prosecution docket, including retrieval of documents over private PAIR and utilization of a web-based prosecution tool. Should preferably have proficiency in electronically filing patent applications, office action responses, and related papers via the USPTO's EFS-Web site, as well as proficiency with the USPTO's PAIR web site. MS Word experience is essential. Apple Mac experience is preferred, as is experience with the WIPO PCT-Safe software tool. Apple iPhone ownership is also preferred. Note: This is a full-time telecommuting position.
