Immigration Paralegal The candidate will perform a variety of legal duties pertaining to existing and new employment-based cases, in collaboration with immigration attorneys. Will assist in managing PERM applications for green card processing. Assist with gathering and completing immigration and non-immigration visa petitions (i.e., H, L, TN, E and O visas, adjustment of status applications, advance parole, employment authorization documents, consular processing, PERM, and others). Work with attorneys in gathering information and inputting information in employment- based immigration petitions, including l-140, l-130, l-485, l-864, l-765, G-325A, and other applications, as appropriate. Provide administration support to input, retrieve, update and delete information using online case management system and computerized databases. Communicate with USCIS and DOL about basic questions. Perform related work, as assigned. Bachelor s degree and paralegal certificate is preferred. Should have 2+ years of experience working at an immigration law firm working on PERM and preparation of immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions. Writing sample of equivalent requested upon interview is needed. Knowledge of online case management systems for immigration law and entering data (preferably INSZoom) is needed. Knowledge of the most common employment-based immigration petitions and related evidentiary requirements, including preparation of petitions is essential. Knowledge of PERM regulations and requirement is needed.
