Immigration Paralegal The candidate will be dedicated to providing excellent client service by helping small, mid-size, and large businesses attract and retain global talent. Should understand the importance of paying attention to details and creating accurate work product within specific deadlines. Will be expected to analyze a clients options, formulate a plan, and deliver a solution, while interacting with supervisors and peers. After completing initial onboarding and training activities, will be expected to integrate into the team and immediately contribute to ongoing cases. Work on a variety of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications that are complex and unique, requiring review and analysis of law. Prepare nonimmigrant petitions and applications, including: B-1/B-2, E-1/E-2, E-3, F-1 STEM, H-1B, J-1, L-1, and TN. Prepare immigrant cases, such as: PERM labor certification, I-140 petitions, and I-485 applications. Work under the supervision of a senior attorney and a paralegal manager, and collaborate closely with clients in a fast-paced and collegial environment. Learn and understand how to use case management system for preparing petitions and applications, managing case list, and running reports. Should manage a large caseload, learn to prioritize, ask questions, adhere to timelines and deadlines, be detail-oriented, take initiative, work independently and in a team-oriented setting, and enjoy helping businesses and their employees. Should be an experienced full time bilingual (English/Spanish) legal assistant for a property damage litigation law firm representing policyholders. Bachelor's degree required. 3 years of related industry experience required. Strong writing skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients by email and phone needed. Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple assignments from managers and ability to multitask required. Experience working independently and tracking deadlines essential. Quick learner and problem solver required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Windows essential.
