Litigation Paralegal The candidate will effectively manage a caseload of 50-75 cases. Accurately draft demand letters, pleadings, discovery and various motions. Continually communicate with clients, counsel, experts, and courts. Audit cases for all expenses (medical bills, case expenses, LOP providers, subrogation liens). Accurately maintain case management data in Needles (case management database). Prepare trial documents and assist with trial preparation. The candidate should have a college degree or comparable paralegal certification and experience. Should have 2+ years of experience required in a plaintiff's personal injury law firm, 5+ years experience preferred. Proficient in personal injury law involving motor vehicle collisions. Proficient in preparing discovery responses. Detail-oriented with a focus on grammar and language arts. Professional appearance and behavior. Working knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of personal injury litigation. Trucking experience is preferred. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills on the phone, in person and email. Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and critical thinking abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Case Management software (Needles preferred).
