Performs clerical duties such as typing and filing to the extent required to produce work product or assure proper organization of case files. Performs non-billable functions, including but not limited to, participating on strategic committees, assisting in seminar development, assisting with production of presentations, mentoring and training new employees. Ensures all functions are performed in exact accordance with applicable client guidelines. Remains flexible and open to requests for support or assistance outside of the scope of this job description and to other duties as directed by the Management team. Requirements : The candidate should preferably have a Bachelors degree. Should have 3 years of litigation experience and preferably be certified paralegal. Corporate Paralegal Duties: Assist attorneys to prepare integral corporate documents/materials. Assist with the completion and filing of SS-4 Forms with the Internal Revenue Service for the purpose of obtaining Employee Identification Numbers (EINs) for corporations, partnerships and/or limited liability companies. Other tasks and projects as needed. Qualifications: 4 year college degree in any discipline. Degree or certificate in Paralegal Studies is a plus. 5+ years' experience as a Corporate Paralegal. Strong research and investigative skills. Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Strong computer and software skills (LexisNexis, Westlaw, etc.) Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and coordinate work.
