Litigation Attorney The candidate should have 1-3 years experience to join medical malpractice defense firm. Will manage an active caseload which would include court appearances in New York City and surrounding county courts. Tasks could also include managing discovery, medical records analysis, managing and attending meetings with insureds and experts, depositions, legal research, motion drafting, oral arguments and trial preparation. Should have strong legal research, writing, analytical and communication skills; they should be knowledgeable in medicine and anatomy and be a strong team player; medical malpractice defense or nursing experience is a huge plus. Must be admitted to practice in New York.
