Litigation Paralegal The candidate will prepare records, review and prepare exhibits, summarize medical records and deposition transcripts, and trial preparation. Contact outside sources (government agencies, etc) to obtain public information. Review, analyze and organize document productions by opposing parties and co-defendants. Review file for outstanding discovery in preparation for court appearances, pleadings, depositions and trial preparation. Determine, prepare and organize material needed for expert witness review. Assemble chronologies of key documents. Manage documents and organize case files
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree; paralegal certificate preferred. should have 4+ years of experience in toxic tort and medical devices, and as a litigation paralegal in a fast paced environment. Must have experience with preparing records, assembling exhibits, pleadings, summarizing transcripts, discovery and trial preparation. Should have clear and effective communication skills both orally and written skills. Strong computer skills with proficient in MS Office Suite and document management systems are required.
