Immigration Paralegal The candidate will work with Immigration Attorney in helping immigrants apply for adjustment of status, United States Citizenship, family petitions and other immigration benefits. Assist with legal casework and accurate review of application forms. Notify clients by phone or mail about matters related to their case and conduct follow up when necessary, such as when additional documentation is needed. Maintain up-to-date client data in Abacus database and internal monitoring tools. Perform administrative tasks including answering phones, faxing, photocopying and mailing relevant documents and applications. Monitor progress towards meeting legal program contract requirements. Other related duties as assigned by the Office Manager or Immigration Attorney. The candidate should preferably have prior experience in immigration law. Bilingual English/Spanish required (additional languages are a plus). Must have excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication. Detail-oriented and strong organizational and follow up skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite a must.
