Banking/Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will handle both paralegal and secretarial assignments at a busy real estate and banking desk working for several attorneys. Significant word processing, file organization and maintenance, drafting or revising correspondence, memoranda and legal documents, case status maintenance, and documents management. Coordination of the maintenance of voluminous document files, performing moderately complex factual research and investigation, developing systems to track information and assist with document acquisition, organization, review, and analysis, compiling information from various sources, analyzing and clearly reporting detailed findings using charts, statistics, and other tools, proofreading legal documents, drafting detailed correspondence and memoranda for attorneys as requested, utilizing computer databases to organize, store and access information. The candidate must have 3-5 years of legal relevant experience in a related capacity, strong organization, and time management skills, ability to work independently and multi-task, keen attention to detail, and strong proofreading skills with a paralegal certificate preferred; basic knowledge of loan documents, interest rates, types of transactions, organizational documents, etc.; strong organization and time management skills; ability to work independently; keen attention to detail; strong proofreading skills; ability to lift 25+ pounds; ability to stand for periods of 30 minutes or longer; excellent skills in Windows/Word/Outlook/Excel/PDF required; Timeslips and LaserPro a plus. Must be able to work under pressure, and deadlines, and have to experience a major case load/high volume of matters.
