Immigration Paralegal The candidate will provide assistance to the attorney in the preparation of immigration cases including family-based cases, employment-based cases, removal defense, federal court litigation, and humanitarian cases (Violence Against Women, Asylum, T/U visas). Also, answer phones, copy work, calendar and manage caseload and assemble the document. Assist attorney in preparation of immigration applications and court filings, including preparation of immigration forms and packages with supporting evidence for submission to relevant administrative agency or court. Draft correspondence to clients and government agencies/courts. Review and organize client documentation. Maintain organized, legally compliant client files, monitor deadlines and progress of individuals cases. Perform administrative tasks and other projects as assigned by an attorney. Communicate extensively with clients to collect information/documents, provide status and answer non-legal questions. The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree. Must have 2+ years of immigration experience and 2+ years of Paralegal experience. Should have high attention to detail with strong writing, critical thinking, research, verbal communication; time and case management skills; the ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner.
