Litigation Paralegal Duties: Open/organize and maintain case management databases. Conduct conflict searches and prepare retainer agreements. Digest and analyze responses to discovery requests. Respond to document production requests. Perform privilege review; draft privilege logs. E-discovery collection and processing. Deposition preparation of exhibits and witness binders. Draft/serve subpoenas, document production, deposition notices. Work with expert witnesses and investigate credentials of opposing experts. Perform legal, non-legal and medical research; public records, asset searches. Digest deposition transcripts. Prepare timelines and chronologies. Prepare transactional documents with heavy redlining. Assist with preparing cases for mediation, arbitration or trial. Draft pretrial witness and exhibit lists. Prepare trial notebooks and trial exhibits. Assist in preparing and coordinating witnesses. Attend trial; coordinate courtroom technology. Preserve files for appellate review.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred. Paralegal Certification preferred. Should have 5-7 years of litigation experience and knowledge of State and Federal Litigation procedures. Reliable, tactical thinker who is adept with technology. Ability to handle tight deadlines efficiently.
