Family Law Paralegal The candidate will assume 15-20 active family cases with supervision that involve dissolution of marriage, legal separation, parentage, child custody, spousal support, child support, attorneys fees, high net worth clients and complex litigation, as well as domestic violence restraining orders. Interact with clients from the beginning to the end of the case so that the client feels firm is responsive and compassionate to clients needs. Deliver a fast, accurate and complete work product. Able to propound and respond to discovery, including Declarations of Disclosure, Requests for Production, Form Interrogatories, Special Interrogatories, Requests for Admission, Subpoenas, and Depositions. Basic understanding of financial documents, including tax returns, completing Income and Expense Declarations required. Preference will be given to candidate who is bilingual in Spanish and English, familiar with judicial council forms, DissoMaster, MS Office, and PDF reader/authoring software. The candidate should have 2 years of family law experience.
