Litigation Paralegal Duties: Work directly with attorneys on a variety of legal matters. Review and organize medical records and other related documents. Manage cases from inception through trial. Maintain organization across digital and physical files. Calendar and manage important deadlines. Follow up on requests and scheduling. Provide critical support to attorneys. Prepare demands, motions, pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and other legal documents. Trial preparation and support. Manage the work of other paralegals/case-managers. Assist with new client intakes. Communicate directly with clients, courtroom staff and opposing counsel s offices. Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements. Bachelor's degree preferred. 4+ years of experience as a paralegal in a personal injury firm or similar litigation experience. Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to work effectively in a high volume, fast paced environment. Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Reliable transportation required. Ability to thrive in a challenging field. Familiarity with Colorado and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Familiarity with CLIO case management software a plus.
