Draft detailed letter to client reporting Office Actions. Process payment of foreign and U.S. Issue Fees. Process post allowance reviews. Draft preliminary amendments with claim identifiers. Prepare office action responses. Effect national phase entry of PCT applications, and prepare and file continuing applications. Correspond with foreign associates; oversee payment of foreign associates' invoices, and preparation of reporting letters to client. Effect portfolio transfers and manage multi-client portfolios. The candidate must have 3 years of experience working in foreign patent prosecution in a law firm or in-house legal environment. Excellent client service skills are must. Possess effective written and oral communication skills. Display a strong client service orientation with a positive attitude. Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership over projects and responsibilities and resolving issues proactively. High level of proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office Suite applications, Adobe Acrobat, U.S. Patent Office Electronic Filing System, Dialog and other internet research tools. Should preferably have 4 year degree or equivalent work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the role. Familiarity with iManage, FoundationIP and Intapp a plus.
