The Position We are looking for a motivated self-starter with defense litigation experience and the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree; Paralegal Certificate is a plus 1+ years of litigation experience in NY Supreme Court Medical malpractice defense experience required Nursing home litigation experience a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment Responsibilities for this position include drafting and responding to discovery demands, preparing and submitting HIPAA and other record authorizations, assisting with motions, deposition preparation and trial preparation, and summarizing transcripts and other legal documents.
