Bi-Lingual Litigation Paralegal Candidate will handle the routine case management tasks associated with the lawsuits we litigate. Will be writing the initial drafts of legal documents; keeping a case updated; gathering, sorting and organizing documents; communicating with the supervising attorney; communicating with clients; and performing any other tasks that are assigned by the supervising attorney. Support attorneys in litigating their case. Will be expected to handle the tasks outlined in the E&A litigation manual. Each case should be viewed as its on self-contained project with a start, middle and end. Will be brought into a case that is in various stages and must pick up in the specific phase that the case is in. Will generally be engaged in the following tasks: Gathering and organizing documents. Speaking with clients about their case status, gathering information, updating them on their case, and relaying their questions to the supervising attorney. Updating the case in the Firm's management software. Generating legal documents from the Firm's software. Drafting communications for the supervising attorney. Requesting information from people for a lawsuit. Ensuring the case file is updated. Qualifications: Computer literate. Proficient with using technology, and specifically the following computer programs and hardware: MS- Word; MS-Excel; Adobe Acrobat; Lexis Nexis; Lexis Nexis Case Map; Clio; And show the ability to quickly learn the Software programs utilized by the Firm. Fluently bi-lingual in English/Spanish. Schedule: 10-40 hours a week
