Corporate Paralegal The candidate is responsible for creating, organizing, and maintaining corporate legal files and minute books, as well as processing Virginia State Corporation Commission correspondence and filings. Must be an experienced Corporate Paralegal with 3-5 years of related work experience in a professional services law firm. A college degree or paralegal certificate is preferred. Must have exceptional organization skills and attention to detail. Should have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and in Adobe Acrobat Pro. Must have knowledge of PracticeMaster to maintain electronic records and billing or equivalent systems. Should preferably have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, respect for discretion and confidentiality, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines. Must demonstrate a positive representation of the firm's commitment to client service and must demonstrate the desire to be an essential part of a busy practice as a team player. Must be detail-oriented and organized, have a good attitude, work ethic, and attention to detail. Strong verbal and accurate written communication skills are essential for this position. Must have a college degree and/or paralegal certificate and provide references. Willingness to be flexible as required to meet deadlines is needed.
