This large, rapidly growing, full-service law firm is making big strides in the global realm of telecommunications, e-commerce and dot coms in addition to having a very notable practice in international commerce, corporate and contract litigation. It is located in the Pacific Northwest with branches in the West and in Washington DC. Associates are encouraged to pursue community involvement to enhance their well-rounded approach to law and life. Billable hours credit is given for Pro Bono work, and the firm's hours requirements are very reasonable. Strong mentoring and training programs are present.
Corporate Paralegal The candidate will support Corporate and Real Estate practice groups to work on a variety of corporate, securities, M&A transactions, as well as to work with title companies, lending institutions, regulatory agencies, and to assist with real estate transactions and financings. Will be drafting documents, real property title and survey review, entity formations, foreign qualifications, document organization, preparation of closing books in connection with corporate transactions, and preparation of annual minutes and license renewals. Should preferably have 3-5 years of corporate and/or real estate paralegal experience. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent Word and Excel skills are also required.
