Public Finance Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for the preparation of bond documents, disclosure documents, closing certificates, opinions, notices, resolutions, and voter pamphlets for elections; coordinating closings and preparation of UCC Financing Statements. Will also be responsible for conducting due diligence; proofreading and assembling documents and maintenance of accurate transaction information, contacts, and files. Also prepare closing transcripts; overseeing document scanning, profiling and retrieval, and record documents. The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree, or an Associate's Degree with a Paralegal Certificate, or comparable work experience. Experience in public finance, commercial lending transactions, corporate law, and/or real estate areas is a plus. Should preferably have project management experience. Must have strong written and oral communication skills, intermediate level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Excel) and document management systems. Should be energetic, detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and to understand the cycle of a transaction. Research, organization, and interpersonal skills are essential.
