Licensing and Litigation Paralegal Duties: Assist with preparing and updating brokering and lending license applications. Track informational requests to clients and from state and federal regulators. Prepare foreign qualifications, examination responses, periodic reports, renewals, and ongoing compliance filings. Prepare correspondence to client, state, and federal regulators. Correspond with client, state, and federal regulators. Compile filings, scan filings, and send filings to regulators. Manage filing records. Review and analyze regulatory notifications. Prepare and disseminate litigation document compilations. Manage litigation case-document databases. Conducting legal research. Handle all aspects of routine case management. Participate in team meetings. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is required, a Paralegal Certificate is preferred. 1-3 years of office administrative, legal, compliance, financial services, and/or licensing experience is a plus. Must have proficiency using PDF software, strong Microsoft Excel experience, and a working proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. Nationwide Multi-State Licensing System and Registry experience is a plus. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent time management and organizational skills, attention to detail, and must be a self-starter. The ability to manage a high-volume workload, and to effectively interface with various levels of personnel is critical to operational success.
