Immigration Attorney, Part-time Duties: Be responsible for firm s existing clientele, and profit sharing for clients bring on own, professional support and advice. Attending legal networking events, conferences, and symposiums. Conduct immigration law workshops for individuals and businesses. Provide legal support to the firm on an ad-hoc basis (master hearing appearances in immigration court, asylum interviews at USCIS offices in the tri-state area). Discovery, research, and writing. Technology and use CRM and legal case management software. Will be working on own cases (start to finish), developing own clientele, case law research, immigration court appearances, and client intake.
Qualifications: JD Degree from an ABA-accredited school. Must be admitted to that Bar in any state (will verify admission). 1-2 years of business/family immigration law experience. Must have a business-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset, be a go-getter. Must be comfortable working independently, with little guidance. Ability to conduct legal research quickly and efficiently. Excellent analytical and research skills. Impeccable oral and written communications skills. Extraordinary attention to detail. Strong business relationship management skills. Self-starter mentality. Experience working independently as well as within cross-functional teams in a collaborative professional environment. Social media savvy, be able to create meaningful online marketing content.
