Personal Injury Litigation and Pre-Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities: Open new client files using Google Suite and case management software. Gather client information and investigation. Legal research and writing. Drafting, review and filing of legal documents. Locate, request and organize the medical, employment, educational and government records of clients. Communicate and establish relationships with the providers of such information. Analyze and summarize incoming records and create Excel spreadsheets to summarize medical treatment timelines & costs. Drafting demands. Manage the calendars of attorney and clients. Make travel arrangements, including flight and hotel reservations while keeping detailed records of costs incurred. Assist in trial preparation, exhibits, jury instructions and trial notebooks. Requirements: Colorado State Public Notary is preferred. 2-3 years job experience as a plaintiff personal injury paralegal in Colorado. 2-3 years working plaintiff personal injury cases inception to settlement/verdict in Colorado. Ability to draft correspondence, demands, discovery and other legal documents. Ability to file with Colorado Courts E-Filing System. Ability to file with PACER . Punctual and reliable. Able to work full time in the office. Able to start within two weeks. 2-3 years working with ICCES/Colorado Courts E-Filing and PACER. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Deadline and detail oriented. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Proficient to advanced computer skills. Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to use case management software. Ability to use Google Suite.
