Title : Litigation Paralegal

Litigation Paralegal The candidate will join Insurance Defense Firm. Duties includes all aspects of case management from Pre-Suit through Trial. Conduct legal research, background searches and initial case assessments. Assist with client status reports. Coordinate and schedule experts. Draft and answer discovery. Assist attorneys with all aspects of discovery, including non party production, subpoenas, and the follow up of medical records. Maintain a Medical Chronology Index and Medical Composite. Organize exhibits, documents, and evidence. Report to multiple partners and associate attorneys. Meet a minimum billing requirement of 120 hours per month. Must have applicable knowledge of insurance defense or other relevant experience. Highly organized with the ability to work under tight deadlines and handle heavy case load. Knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure required. Efficiency with using a Case Management System and strong computer skills needed. Experience with ATO is a plus. Should have 3+ years of litigation or defense experience. Legal experience in Florida is a prerequisite.
