Real Estate Paralegal Duties: Reviewing title, survey and plats and preparing title memos and objection letters; Drafting basic real estate documents, including deeds, easements, assignments, and financing statements; Preparing lease abstracts; Ordering, reviewing and summarizing UCC and litigation searches and zoning reports; Creating and monitoring transaction timelines and checklists; Organizing and managing closings; Creating entities and filing entity documents; and Establishing homeowner s and condominium associations.
Qualifications: High school diploma (a degree or certification is a plus) and 3+ years experience with real estate purchase and sale transactions, leasing and/or financing. Liquor license experience is a plus. Multi-jurisdictional experience is a plus. Highly-motivated, detail-oriented while understanding the broad picture, and is technologically savvy. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, work well in a team environment, have a can-do attitude and excellent client service skills.
